Checklists

  • Prior-to-travel Checklist: This is a real checklist used for trainees traveling out of state. It includes luggage fees, incidentals, immunizations, license application fees, medical school/transcript verification, and Epic training requirements.

  • Orientation Checklist for Hands-On Learners: Use this checklist with learners on their first day to ensure all requirements are met and they have all relevant information for a successful training experience. You may edit this document to reflect any affiliate or learner-specific orientation requirements. This checklist should be shared with sending institutions for reference. For hands-off learners, consider using the ‘Checklist for Hands-Off Learners’.

  • Orientation and Observation Checklist for Hands-Off Learners: This checklist, informed by resources shared by PPCW and PPSAT, can be used to guide the experiences of hands-off learners visiting your affiliate for a few hours to a few days. It should be adapted to reflect specific educational objectives for learners and any specific processes at your affiliate.
